The Role

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and services. You'll work across platform support, automation, monitoring, security and performance, helping to maintain a highly available production environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments
  • Maintaining and optimising Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms
  • Supporting containerised applications and services
  • Investigating and resolving infrastructure and platform incidents
  • Monitoring system performance, availability and security
  • Implementing automation to improve operational efficiency

  • Contributing to disaster recovery, resilience and business continuity initiatives
  • Working closely with development and technical teams to support new releases and platform improvements
  • Participating in an on-call support rota
Skills & Experience

We're interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate experience in most of the following areas:

  • Microsoft Azure administration and support
  • Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Docker and container technologies
  • PowerShell and/or Python scripting
  • Cloud networking, security and identity management
  • Monitoring and observability tools
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and production issues
  • Working within enterprise or business-critical environments
Desirable Experience
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep)
  • CI/CD tooling and deployment automation
  • Experience within healthcare, SaaS or regulated industries
  • Knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance services
What's on Offer?
  • Remote working
  • Salary of £55,000 - £60,000
  • Bonus scheme
  • Additional oncall allowance available
  • Opportunity to work with modern Azure and Kubernetes technologies
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • Collaborative and supportive technical team
  • Genuine opportunity to influence platform improvements and cloud strategy

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cloud Engineer looking to take ownership of a critical cloud platform and work within a business where technology plays a central role in its ongoing success.

Where to Advertise Cyber Security Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise cyber security jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, communities and channels that reach offensive, defensive and GRC security talent. The candidate pool is small, heavily vetted and in high demand across government, financial services, critical national infrastructure and the private sector simultaneously. Many of the strongest candidates hold active security clearances, are not actively job-searching through general platforms, and move primarily through specialist networks and trusted referrals. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that security professionals expect. Specialist platforms, government-affiliated channels and cleared candidate networks each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by CybersecurityJobs.tech, covers where to advertise cyber security roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
