Role Purpose

We are looking for a coach-player leader to own and accelerate business automation across the company. This role will lead and work hands-on with a small team to proactively identify, design, and deliver automation that replaces manual processes, improves visibility, and drives measurable productivity gains.

As an AI-first company, this role sits at the intersection of operations, data, and AI. You will champion the use of AI, intelligent automation, and modern tooling to fundamentally improve how the business runs, not just make existing processes slightly faster.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Own the business automation strategy end-to-end, aligned to company priorities

  • Identify high-impact opportunities to replace or redesign manual workflows across functions (e.g. Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, HR)

  • Define success metrics for automation initiatives (time saved, cost reduction, visibility, quality, risk reduction)

Hands-On Delivery (Coach-Player)

  • Actively design and build automations alongside the team, this is not a purely managerial role

  • Rapidly prototype and deploy solutions using AI, workflow automation, and integration platforms

  • Balance speed with robustness: ship value quickly, then iterate

AI & Intelligent Automation

  • Apply AI pragmatically to real business problems (e.g. process automation, document handling, reporting, forecasting, decision support)

  • Continuously explore and evaluate new AI capabilities and tools, bringing practical use cases into production

  • Help the business understandwhere AI adds leverage and where it doesn’t

Business Partnership & Influence

  • Partner closely with functional leaders to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities
Translate business problems into automation opportunities and technical solutions

  • Build trust through delivery and clear communication, not just ideas

Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small automation team

  • Set standards for solution quality, documentation, and maintainability
Create a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement

What Success Looks Like

  • Manual, repetitive processes are systematically identified and eliminated

  • Leadership has better visibility into business performance through automated reporting and insights

  • Teams across the company feelenabled by automation rather than burdened by it

  • AI is used thoughtfully and productively, delivering tangible gains rather than hype

  • The automation function is seen as a strategic partner, not a support team

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading business automation, operations transformation, or intelligent automation initiatives

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Workflow automation (e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, custom solutions)

  • Data integration and APIs

  • AI-powered tools (LLMs, document processing, agents, analytics, etc.)

  • Ability to work comfortably across business and technical domains

  • Experience leading small teams while remaining deeply hands-on

Mindset & Approach

  • AI-native thinker, you instinctively ask “how should AI change this process?”

  • Pragmatic and outcome-focused: obsessed withvalue delivered, not tools used

  • Proactive: you don’t wait to be told what to automate

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and iteration

  • High ownership and accountability

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fast-growing or AI-driven companies

  • Background in operations, analytics, engineering, or product

  • Experience building internal platforms or automation centres of excellence

  • Salesforce integration experience

Why This Role at Red Sift

  • We are AI-first by design, not as a buzzword

  • You’ll have genuine ownership and influence across the business

  • Opportunity to define how automation and AI shape how the company operates

  • A culture that values experimentation, speed, and impact

Why Join Red Sift?

  • Be part of a global, mission-driven company in rapid scale-up mode

  • Help protect organizations and individuals from cyber threats at scale

  • Competitive base salary + commission plan + equity

Where to Advertise Cyber Security Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise cyber security jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, communities and channels that reach offensive, defensive and GRC security talent. The candidate pool is small, heavily vetted and in high demand across government, financial services, critical national infrastructure and the private sector simultaneously. Many of the strongest candidates hold active security clearances, are not actively job-searching through general platforms, and move primarily through specialist networks and trusted referrals. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that security professionals expect. Specialist platforms, government-affiliated channels and cleared candidate networks each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by CybersecurityJobs.tech, covers where to advertise cyber security roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.

Cyber Security Jobs UK 2026: What to Expect Over the Next 3 Years

Cyber Security Jobs UK 2026: roles, salaries and the threat intelligence, cloud security and zero-trust hiring trends shaping UK cyber careers. Cyber security is one of the few sectors where demand for talent has never once dipped. Every major technological shift of the past decade — cloud migration, remote working, AI adoption, the proliferation of connected devices — has expanded the attack surface that security professionals are expected to defend. And every expansion of that attack surface has generated more jobs. But the cyber security jobs market of 2026 is not simply a larger version of what it was three years ago. It is a structurally different market. The threats have evolved, the technologies used to combat them have changed, the regulatory environment has tightened considerably, and the roles being created reflect all of that. A job seeker who understands only the cyber security landscape of 2023 is already working with an outdated map. The candidates who will thrive over the next three years are those who understand where the sector is heading — which specialisms are attracting the most investment, which technologies are reshaping defensive and offensive security practice, and how the definition of a cyber security professional is broadening well beyond the traditional image of a network defender in a SOC. This article breaks down what the UK cyber security jobs market is likely to look like through to 2028 — covering the titles emerging right now, the technologies driving employer demand, the skills that will matter most, and how to position your career ahead of the curve.
