Role: Azure Solutions Architect

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum

Location: Chippenham (Hybrid)

VIQU have partnered with a leading IT consultancy to find an experienced Azure Solutions Architect. You’ll bring expertise across Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, security, virtualisation, and networking, and have a passion for delivering outstanding IT solutions. You’ll design and implement Azure solutions that help clients modernise, scale, and innovate, working closely with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and lead projects from concept to delivery.

Experience required for the Azure Solutions Architect:

Experience working as a Solutions Architect in a consultative capacity, having designed and implemented technical roadmaps end to end.
Expert in designing solutions across Azure services (Deployment, Migrations, Management ect.).
Proficient with Microsoft 365, including both Endpoint Management and Security.
Virtualisation experience with Hyper-V and VMware - both on prem and in the cloud.
Knowledge of Networking across network security, VLANS, TCP/IP ect.
Azure Qualifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-500, AZ-140).
Desirable: Experience with filtering tools, Data (PowerBI, SQL), SonicWALL, Pen testing, VoIP and site recovery.
Duties of the Azure Solutions Architect:

Design and architect modern IT infrastructure solutions, focusing on Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
Lead and end to end delivery on infrastructure projects and consultancy engagements.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation and delivery plans to support successful project execution.
Perform infrastructure and cybersecurity risk assessments and advise on Microsoft 365 strategy and adoption.
Support teams with presales expertise, solution design, best practises, and major incident support.
Lead and develop new cloud solutions and service offerings to enhance customer and internal capabilities.
