Provide expert-level technical support for PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems across a variety of industrial sites
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system faults on-site

Automation Service Engineer - The Person:

Practical experience with multi-vendor control systems – particularly PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS platforms
Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems
Familiarity with project execution, from design to commissioning
Awareness of industrial cybersecurity and standards is an advantage
A solution-focused mindset and a proactive approach to troubleshooting

This business has worked hard to maintain regionally focused teams of Engineers thereby cutting down the amount of nights away from home. As with any travelling role, you need to be prepared to support other regions as needed across the UK & Ireland.

They also offer flexible working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, a generous pension with employer contributions up to 10%, paid overtime, door to door travel time paid, fully expensed company car and 26 days holiday + bank holidays (with the option to buy/sell an additional five days).

You will join a strong team, supporting a broad range of clients across the Midlands. If you are keen on working with a variety of applications, this is the role for you.

The ideal candidate will be located within and around Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham or Derby.
