We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audit & Compliance Officer to support the organisation’s quality, environmental, information security and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, maintaining audit schedules and reporting findings.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 compliance and certification activities.
- Manage and maintain risk registers, risk assessments and PESTLE analysis.
- Support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain GDPR/data protection compliance, including audits and security incident investigations.
- Support environmental compliance, waste management and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Coordinate compliance training and support supplier due diligence and compliance reviews.
- Prepare compliance reports and support management and external audit activities.
- Contribute to the development and review of quality, environmental, information security and compliance policies.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, compliance, quality or a related role.
- ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification/experience.
- Good working knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and statutory requirements.
- ISO 27001 Internal Auditor certification is desirable.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across different teams.
