Pay Rate:£14 - £15 per hour

Working Hours:39 hours per week, day shift starting at 8:00 a.m.

Contract:Permanent

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welding Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining resistance welding machines to produce high-quality welds across various materials. This position requires technical expertise, keen problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Fanuc robot welders and ancillary equipment.
• Ensure machines achieve production targets and address any issues promptly.
• Coordinate service and repairs with external contractors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, enhancing processes and productivity.
• Follow and enforce Health & Safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience programming Fanuc robots from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving abilities related to robotic and welding equipment.
• Proficiency in manual and robotic spot welding and MIG welding techniques.
• Experience with seam/stitch welding.
• Solid mechanical knowledge for effective equipment operation and maintenance.

• Quality (Q): No defective raw materials accepted.
• Delivery (D): Timely offloading and handling of raw materials.
• Cost (C): Minimize machine downtime due to material delays.
