Job Title: Technical Cutover & Hypercare Lead

Contract: 12-month Contract to be extended

Location: Warwick - Hybrid (Twice a week in office)

Rate: £600 inside umbrella

Role Overview:

As the Technical Cutover & Hypercare Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition from the current system to the new SCADA system. Your expertise will guide the development of a detailed and executable Cutover Runbook that encompasses all technical, infrastructure, application, and operational components necessary for this exciting shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Develop Runbooks: Create comprehensive Cutover and Dress Rehearsal Runbooks that include rollback scenario planning, task details, dependencies, sequencing, and timing.
Collaborate: Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, infosec, and operations teams to validate technical cutover readiness and ensure failback readiness.
Document Requirements: Identify and manage technical cutover requirements, including data needs, system configurations, interface activations, and failback procedures.
Define Procedures: Establish technical checkpoints, rollback procedures, and contingency plans that align with change management and regulatory standards.
Manage Rehearsals: Lead Cutover rehearsals, dry runs, and simulations to validate cutover scenarios and ensure runbook viability.
Provide Leadership: Offer technical leadership during the Cutover execution phase, ensuring adherence to the plan and real-time issue management.
Coordinate Hypercare Activities: Manage and coordinate hypercare activities with impacted teams, ensuring effective verification, stabilization, incident resolution, and communication.Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Technical Solution Architect or Implementation Lead in large-scale technology deployments.
Expertise in developing and executing detailed cutover runbooks for mission-critical systems.
Deep understanding of system integration, infrastructure readiness, and network configuration in Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements and operational risk management for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills under pressure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

Experience with SCADA platforms.
Knowledge of CNI cutover and industrial control systems.
Strong understanding of industrial automation and CNI architecture.Qualifications:

Degree level or equivalent experience as a Technical Solution Architect or Implementation Lead in a large-scale technology deployment or transformation program.
