About the Role:

As aTechnical Consultant – PAM Solutions, you will drive technical engagements for ManageEngine’sPrivileged Access Management (PAM)solutions. You will collaborate with customers, prospects, and partners to deliver exceptional presales and consultancy services, ensuring seamless adoption of PAM tools to enhance security, compliance, and access control across organizations.

This role requires extensive travel—more than 80% of the time—within the UK and Ireland to engage with customers and partners.



Requirements

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Tools & Platforms: Hands-on experience with PAM tools like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic/Centrify), One Identity, or ManageEngine PAM360 is highly desirable.
  • Security & Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, and Zero Trust security models.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Consulting Experience: Proven experience in a technical consulting or presales role, particularly in PAM, IAM, or security domains.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • UK passport or valid work authorization is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presales and Technical Consultancy: Deliver in-depth product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and technical workshops for PAM solutions, including privileged session management, password vaulting, and just-in-time access.
  • Customer Success: Work closely with customers to understand their privileged access security challenges and implement tailored solutions using ManageEngine PAM360 and other identity security products.
  • PAM Expertise: Guide customers in deploying, configuring, and optimizing solutions for privileged account discovery, access control, password rotation, session monitoring, and compliance reporting.
  • Build Relationships: Foster trust with customers and partners by acting as their primary technical advisor and escalation point for PAM solutions.
  • Product Collaboration: Liaise with product engineering and R&D teams to stay updated on new features and ensure customer feedback is incorporated into future releases.
  • RFI/RFP Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive responses to RFI/RFPs, ensuring technical clarity and alignment with customer needs.
  • Industry Representation: Represent ManageEngine at cybersecurity conferences, industry events, and user groups to showcase our PAM solutions and best practices.
