Technical Architect | 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35

Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Outside IR35)

Location: London (3 days a week onsite)

83zero are partnered with a leading organisation at the forefront of digital transformation and infrastructure modernisation. They are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, and IT architecture to play a key role in an Azure migration and wider IT strategy transformation.

Role Overview

As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering robust IT solutions across a diverse and complex technology environment. You will contribute to a large-scale data centre migration to Azure and ensure the integration of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and design IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and future growth.
Support and contribute to a large-scale migration from on-premises data centres to Azure.
Evaluate system architecture, identifying areas for improvement, risk mitigation, and cost savings.
Conduct technical assessments of emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiencies.
Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to drive infrastructure projects.
Provide technical guidance and support for IT service delivery, including incident, change, and problem management.
Maintain a clear understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and security frameworks.
Assist in information security risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience working as a Technical Architect or Senior Infrastructure Specialist.
Strong background in Microsoft technologies, Azure administration, and cloud-native solutions.
Experience designing and implementing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural framework knowledge (desirable).
Hands-on experience working across networking, security, endpoint management, and cloud platforms.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all business levels.
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with third-party suppliers
