As a Senior Security Engineer, you willcollaborate with software development teams to ensure we keep ourcustomers safe while developing these novel services. In a givenday, you might be inspecting an application’s code for securityissues, building a new framework to help our software developersbuild faster and more securely, or fine-tuning the design for a newservice alongside its software developers. The ideal candidatecombines technical acumen with an ability to lead by influence andcommunicate clearly. Technically, this person will be a securitygeneralist with one or more areas of deep expertise. In theircommunication, they will clearly articulate risks to technical andnon-technical audiences alike. Interpersonally, successfulcandidates will effectively harmonize disparate opinions whileeffectively prioritizing risks to guide their partners towardssecure solutions. Manual and Automated Secure Code Review, primarily in Java,Python and Javascript. 3. Development of security automation tools.4. Adversarial security analysis using leading-edge tools toaugment manual effort. 5. Security training and outreach forinternal development teams. 6. Security architecture and designguidance. 7. Independently solve security problems that requirenovel methods or approaches. 8. Influence your team’s and partners’process, priorities, and choices to improve outcomes. BASICQUALIFICATIONS - BS in Computer Science or equivalent qualificationor extensive years of demonstrated experience in areas such asapplication security, offensive security and/or systems security. -Understanding of threat modeling, manual source code review,security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit techniques, and methodsfor their remediation. - Excellent written and verbal communicationskills with the ability to adapt messaging to executive, technical,and non-technical audiences. - Ability to drive multipletechnically complex security reviews together while remainingeffective at providing security guidance to stakeholders andability to work with a high degree of autonomy. PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - You demonstrate excellent judgement in assessingand prioritizing technical risk. - You have a strong applicationsecurity background with a focus on scalable solutions. - You haveexperience building and securing complex AWS architecture. - Youhave excellent written and verbal communication skills. - You workto identify and remove bottlenecks for your teammates, both inprocess and technology.
