TheRole

As part of our highly successful, and dynamic EMEA Commercial Add-on Sales Team you will be responsible to ensure that all our customers have a world-class Proofpoint experience; being contacted regularly throughout the year and informed of product and services developments. Working closely with the Channel, you will jointly achieve total customer satisfaction, deliver Customer business reviews and, wherever possible, up-sell and cross-sell current customers on new products or services.

Your day-to-day

Meet or exceed each quarter’s revenue quota and accurately forecast to the business. Proactively contact customers to ensure satisfaction and promote awareness of the complete solution portfolio. Establishing and maintain strong business relationships at all levels of the organisation. Coordinating multiple resources within an account Proactively identify customer issues, work with the larger Proofpoint team to resolve them. Research customer organisational structure and track information within Salesforce.com Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace. Identify and convert add-on opportunities into sales. Ensure transactions are processed in accordance with company policy to ensure revenue recognition. Work closely with the Renewal team to demonstrate alignment within the customer accounts. Ability to work with channel partners and existing relationships advantageous.

What you bring to the team

Enterprise Software sales experience within the Alps market Experience of the Cyber-security market is highly advantageous. Team player with a can do, no mountain too high attitude Previous experience of working in a channel fulfilment model Ability to present and address technical themes (with support from a Sales Engineer) Proven track record of achieving against quota. Accurate of forecasting accuracy Ability to track, organize, and close multiple pending opportunities Dedicated to customer success. Familiarity with using CRM and/or relational database to manage sales activity. Fluent in verbal and written in German, and English
