Are you a skilled Sous Chef?

Our client, a well-established hotel in Margate, is looking for a Sous Chef cuisine to join their team for an annual salary of £34,000.

As the Sous Chef, you will be working 40+ hours per week – the shift times are variable, so flexibility is essential.

The successful candidate will ensure all food is served freshly and appealingly. You will be required to represent the company courteously, efficiently, and friendly in all customer and employee interactions.

Duties & Responsibilities:



* To assist in the running of the kitchen to agreed levels.

*

* Ensure that portion control is monitored and recorded.

*

* Responsible for ensuring proper food preparation and presentation and maintaining proper serving temperatures – following HACCP standards.

*

* Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards.

*

* To ensure that food safety, health, safety procedures, and documentation are followed.

*

* Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area.
