Up to £75,000 + Package


Opportunity to work for a global cyber security company and their growing UK SOC Team. The Senior Security Analyst will provide second and third tier analytical support to clients, contribute to developing internal capability and provide leadership on certain projects.

This is a remote role in the UK (but infrequent travel within the UK will be required either for an occasional client visit or team meeting on site in London).


The Role


Your predominant client will be a high-profile organisation in the legal sector, and you will play a key role in leading and coordinating threat hunting activities, performing SIEM based event analysis, triaging incidents, leading on vulnerability assessment activities as well as creating and tuning alerts.


You will interface with key stakeholders, communicate effectively with customers and team members and contribute to mentoring juniors as they develop their skills in the team.


Requirements


Essential:

  1. Proven years of experience in a security operations analyst role
  2. Palo Alto Cortex
  3. Experience in regulated sectors & large organisations
  4. Excellent understanding of security and analytical concepts
  5. Excellent communications skills


Beneficial

  1. XSIAM
  2. Qualifications such as Degree, SANS, OSCP or ISC2
  3. Sentinel or Splunk experience
  4. Engineering skills and interests in areas such as reverse engineer or malware analysis
