Our securityconsultants deliver architecture guidance, develop securityinfrastructure and patterns in code, lead proof-of-conceptprojects, and conduct security workshops for customers. AWSsecurity consultants collaborate with customers to address securityand compliance challenges, and they help implement and migratecustomer solutions and workloads onto AWS. Key job responsibilities1. Solutions: You like working with customers to solve problems andidentify opportunities. You’ll define and deliver on-site technicalengagements with partners and customers. This includesunderstanding customer security and compliance requirements,proposing and delivering packaged security offerings, and helpingto build bespoke security solutions to fit customers’ needs. 2.Expertise: Cloud is the new norm and customers are migratingincreasingly more sensitive workloads to AWS. You’re an expert inoperating within an enterprise security program and developing asecurity model in the AWS cloud - identity and access management,logging and monitoring, infrastructure security, data protection,and incident response. 3. Delivery: As a consultant, you will oftengo on-site to customers to deliver projects proving the use of AWSservices and security technology to support information security inthe cloud. Sometimes you might help migrate existing applications;sometimes you might help them develop new applications using AWScloud services. 4. Insights: You’ll work with AWS engineering,support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedbackas input to AWS technology roadmaps. 5. Practice Development:Helping customers is our number one goal – but it’s not our onlygoal. With each engagement, you’re looking for ways to collect,capture, package and share your knowledge with new customers,partners, and AWS employees. You are a force-multiplier –developing tools, services, and new artefacts that help othersbuild on the work you deliver. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Significantexperience in IT security, compliance and risk management,including privacy, controls, etc. - Proven and significantexperience working with security reference architectures for all-incloud deployments and/or hybrid scenarios - Understandingarchitectural implications of meeting industry standards such asISO 27001, UK Official - Hands-on technical expertise in buildingAWS cloud security capabilities in code and deployinginfrastructure in code - Implementation experience with enterprisesecurity solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - Experience in supporting internal and externalcustomers. You understand what it means to draw out criticalcustomer needs and focus your knowledge and creativity to deliverpractical outcomes addressing those needs. - Experience buildingenterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving theprogram's evolution to meet new requirements - AWS Certifications,e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Security Specialty. -Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to leadeffectively across organisations - Understanding of enterprise riskmanagement methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes incomplex public sector or highly regulated organisations - Degree orequivalent experience; Computer Science or Math backgroundpreferred Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
