Hawksworth are now recruiting for aSnr Security Architect for Network & Cloudfor a global Law firm. You will lead the design and development of the firm’s cloud network security solutions.


The role would ideally be based in Belfast but can also be Remote with infrequent travel to London or Belfast for meetups or meetings. You will need to have some flexibility to work within EMEA hours.


Salary is competitive and to be discussed on an indervidual basis.


There is no direct reports for this role at this time but it is a Senior position. You will be working within the Cloud Security team which includes 5 dedicated architects. The role involves working as part of the overall security solution alongside their clients, security architects, MS365 architects, vulnerability architects, and PKI architects. The successful Snr Security Architect will report directly to the Security Engineering Director but will also work daily with the wider Security Engineering Group.


Required skills & experience:

  • Experience in managing enterprise network security solutions, particularly with CASB (cloud access security broker) and CNAPP (cloud-native application protection platform).
  • Skillset in Microsoft technologies within Cloud Access security: Microsoft Defender (Cloud Apps), Microsoft Entra ID, CNAPP.
  • Secondary skills that would be useful include experience in Palo Alto Prisma or Vectra AI (both are used).
  • 3-5 years of experience working within network security solutions in the cloud. The experience must be within cloud network solutions engineering (security solutions within the cloud).
  • Candidates should come from either a network security or security engineering background.
  • Ideally, 10 years of experience, but candidates with 3 years of demonstrable experience within an enterprise monitoring network and security solutions in the cloud will also be considered.
  • Zscaler experience is an advantage.
  • A Computer Science bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise cloud security solutions
  • Strong knowledge of IAM solutions with desired experience in Microsoft Entra ID
