Job Description: This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class Cybersecurity organization. As a Senior Product Security Architect in the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) team for the International Consumer, you will work proactively with your technology and business colleagues to identify and quantify security issues within their business and empower them to take decisive risk decisions at speed and scale. You are a security expert with a strong mix of technical and communication skills and are passionate about enabling safe and secure innovation. You will collaborate with some of the best cybersecurity and technology engineers to solve complex problems, challenging yourself and developing your skills in one of the most innovative and respected companies in the world.
Core Product Security Responsibilities:
Cultivate security culture with your product technology and business colleagues. Promote sustainable controls and risk reduction outcomes by integrating threat modelling, security design, and architecture reviews into product and application teams to ensure products are secure from inception.
Know your product across its breadth and depth. Be fluent in your product’s strategy and roadmap, understand key investment programs, and proactively learn about unfamiliar technology components, capabilities, and business concepts, applying critical thinking to identify issues.
Be your product’s security thought leader. Share best practices, learn from your teams, and be recognized as the escalation point and subject matter expert for IT Risk and Cyber domains.
Act with urgency managing emerging issues. Monitor Key Risk Indicators, communicate issues promptly, recommend resolutions, and identify root causes.
Partner and influence across your product’s supply chain. Collaborate with colleagues on audit, regulatory engagements, risk activities, and project initiatives, focusing on effective technology risk management, especially in Cloud computing and emerging technologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions via Threat Modeling and Security Design & Architecture Reviews.
Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, especially in cloud (GCP & AWS), AI, ML, mobile technologies.
Ability to independently resolve design and functionality problems.
Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Proven influence within and outside your department.
Ability to evaluate and recommend future architecture solutions.
Practical expertise in Product Security including deploying products with Cloud and containers (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), securing APIs and micro-services, SaaS tools, and managing Software Supply Chain Security.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Experience in regulated organizations with a 3LoD model.
Willingness to challenge existing processes respectfully.
Experience translating policies/regulations into control designs for engineers and architects.
Proven ability to learn and adapt to modern technologies.
Experience in financial services or Fintech sectors, including Mortgages, Cards, or Digital.
