CHECK Senior Infrastructure Penetration Tester PGI isa global consultancy that helps organisations build digitalresilience. We deploy our people to implement solutions on behalfof clients or to support them in developing their capabilities. OurPenetration Testers work with organisations of all sizes and typesto detect and remediate vulnerabilities. They help identify areaslacking sufficient protection. The team tests the security ofinfrastructure and applications, conducts IT Health Checks, reviewsIT configurations, identifies gaps that threat actors couldexploit, and makes recommendations to safeguard assets. What you’llbe doing: - Providing professional cybersecurity consultancy tointernal and external stakeholders. - Leading the delivery of PGI’sinfrastructure penetration testing. - Collaborating on the designand delivery of new and existing service lines related to offensivesecurity assessments. - Supporting and often leading technicalpre-sales, proposal writing, and client engagements. - Coaching andsupervising junior team members, including resource management,development planning, mentoring, and knowledge transfer. -Analyzing security data to identify patterns, threats, andvulnerabilities. - Producing high-quality technical reports thatexplain vulnerabilities in non-technical language for stakeholders.- Performing quality assurance and peer reviews of project reports.- Collaborating with colleagues on internal or client projects. -Contributing to technical training and development materials. -Supporting technical delivery projects to ensure successfuloutcomes. - Mentoring security consultants or clients by sharingknowledge and overseeing skill development. - Participating inexercises such as Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges. - Providingaccurate scoping of penetration testing opportunities for salesactivities. - Supporting sales activities with proposals and clientpresentations. - Supporting marketing with subject matter expertiseand content development. - Developing and maintaining technicalskills and certifications, e.g., Hack The Box. - Staying currentwith cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. On day oneyou will bring: - Relevant professional certifications, such as CCTinf or CSTL inf. - Chartership from the Cyber Security Council withthe title Principal or Chartered (preferred). - At least 3 years ofexperience in penetration testing or security consulting. -Knowledge of operating systems, networks, and cloud platforms. - Agood understanding of network security and protocols like TCP/IP. -Experience with technical concepts such as tunneling traffic and IPconfiguration. - Experience delivering penetration tests andvulnerability assessments for networks, applications, and cloudservices. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal andwritten, with the ability to present to clients. - Ability tomanage time effectively and work to deadlines. - Critical thinkingskills and an innovative approach to problem-solving. - Experiencewith security tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, and Metasploit. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively, sharingknowledge freely. - Knowledge of scripting languages. - Eligibilityfor security clearance. - Self-motivation and a commitment tocontinuous development.
