As a team:

You will work with some of the best in the industry, on prestigious projects with the world's most high-profile clients within the Resources sector (covering Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources) and enjoy the benefits of being part of Accenture Security. Our Operational Technology (OT) team helps clients protecting their industrial environments and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. An OT / ICS security manager provides advisory and technical expertise to help our clients securely design and deploy industrial control systems and operational technology. You will provide subject matter expertise and utilize your business acumen to work collaboratively with our clients to advise, design, build and implement pragmatic industrial control system security solutions.

In our team you will :

  • Experience working within the Resources sector covering Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources. Our clients include critical national infrastructure and clients of national significance with both IT and OT cyber risks.


  • Support the delivery of Accenture's security offerings across our cyber resilience, cyber protect and cyber strategy domains that covers areas like security governance, cloud, AI, cyber strategy, risk assessments, identity and access management and managed security services.


  • Learn skills to implement security compliance measures to complex technical transformation and capability enhancement projects


As an Cyber Resilience Delivery Manager you will:

Be responsible for safeguarding industrial control systems, SCADA systems, and other critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to incidents within OT environments. The specialist will work closely with engineering and IT teams to ensure the resilience and security of essential operations. You will be required to:

  • Manage delivery of complex security projects in regulated environments.


  • Conduct cyber security strategy, readiness and discovery assessments; be familiar with security frameworks, compliance requirements and security operations.


  • Provide expert security compliance advice, guidance and support to both technical and non-technical teams within complex projects


  • Assess and articulate project, information and business risks and propose proportionate mitigations.


  • Produce project deliverables such as threat and risk assessments, security policies and procedures, security assurance management plans and accreditation evidence.


  • Introduce holistic security compliance processes to projects, encompassing both technical and procedural controls.


  • Perform analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA / DCS / IIoT) in context of cybersecurity.


  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for Industrial Control Systems.


  • Develop ICS security control frameworks, based on industry best practices as well as international and applicable national standards.


  • Implement or improve ICS security management processes at the clients' organization.


The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • 5+ years of working experience in cyber security or industrial automation.


  • Knowledgeable about the threat landscape and cyber risks for clients within the Resources sector.


  • Knowledgeable about the regulatory landscape for clients within the Resources sector and the implementation patterns required to be compliant.


  • Knowledge and experience of security standards such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, and IEC ISA 99/62443.


  • Experience with common security frameworks for e.g.: NIST, CAF, ISO27001 and CIS controls


  • Knowledge and experience of security processes and operating models.


  • Strong understanding of IT and OT security risks, challenges and solutions.


  • Knowledge and experience of third-party landscape and services that can assist in providing robust security solutions.


  • Demonstrated ability to contribute content to business development / proposal efforts.


  • Comfortable working with senior management (CISO, CIO, CTO) and technical stakeholders (Security teams, Enterprise / Security Architects, Application teams, Cloud engineers, Ops and SecOps).


  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.


Set yourself apart:

  • Security certifications e.g.: GICSP, GRID, CSSA, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, ICS/SCADA cyber security training.


  • Higher degree (Bachelor or Master) in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science (IT) or similar.
