Description Maintain the security of our force IT infrastructure!
Technology is ever evolving, and we are too. To ensure we’re at the forefront of emerging technologies and innovations we are expanding our IT team. This means we can consistently improve our services, working together to keep our officers, staff, and communities safe.
As our Senior IT Network & Security Engineer you will be responsible for all major aspects of the IT network and security for our force.
Providing high levels of support to ensure any adverse effects are identified and minimised to make sure the best possible levels of service are maintained.
What you’ll be doing
Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for network and security incidents
Monitoring the safety and security of force networks
Responsible for problem management relating to IT networks and security, identifying the root cause of incidents and resolving them.
The must haves
Experience of implementing and maintaining IT network and security components
Understand IT networking and security technologies and their implementation
Experience of investigating and managing incidents, escalation and disaster recovery
