Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.We are looking for a passionate Senior Fullstack JS Engineer with experience working in React, Node.js, JavaScript, and Typescript. As a member of a Cross-Functional team within the Sportsbook Area, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface of our web applications, backend for frontend (BFF), and integrating both via REST APIs. You'll also be collaborating closely with the Product Owner, other front-end, back-end and iOS developers, Architects, and the rest of the team members to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions across different platforms. In this team, you'll be able to make a large business impact by contributing to the success of "Our journey towards zero" initiative, where Kindred aims towards zero revenue from harmful gambling.You will participate in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges. We strongly believe in the “You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It” ethos, and everyone is expected to take part in the full system/development life cycle to ensure reliability and uptime of the production environment. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Kindred, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team comes naturally to you, and you enjoy being an engaged member of the team who supports your colleagues when needed.Our technology stack includes:JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Node.jsCSS, UI libraries, and HTMLREST APIsCI/CD using JenkinsMicro frontend architectureTesting with Mocha/JestCypress E2E TestingState management with Redux or similarTo excel in this role, we believe you:Have experience working as a Senior Fullstack Developer/Engineer, with great skills in JavaScript, Typescript, React/Redux, and Node.js.Have worked as a team member in an Agile team and are familiar with Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.Are proficient with CSS, HTML, and UI libraries.Have experience releasing components to production and keeping them up to date with appropriate versioning.Have experience in building REST APIs.Enjoy having full ownership of your work and the SDLC, including using appropriate testing techniques such as unit testing & integration testing.Have experience implementing CI/CD practices such as git branching, automated tests, and automated deployment pipelines.Are able to investigate, troubleshoot, and solve production issues, or have previous experience working as an Incident Manager.Have a good appreciation of TDD/BDD.Have a good understanding of React Hooks.Are passionate about solving challenging problems in a fast-paced and ever-changing agile environment.In addition, you:Are a positive person by nature and have a passion for what you do, putting teamwork and collaboration above all else.Have great communication skills and appreciate a culture where feedback sharing is encouraged to achieve not only the success of the team but also seen as essential to the improvement of personal and professional development.Take great pride in your ability to grasp complex business scenarios and translate them into solutions with high-quality, clean, and performant code.Believe in yourself and your own abilities, but also appreciate that there is an endless ocean of new things to learn and take on board, cherishing the opportunity to do so.Join us on this exciting journey, where you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and expand your skills alongside a collaborative and dynamic team.
