Job Description

As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for advising the Service Reliability Group on the provision of their services to customers. This role involves ensuring that all services are delivered securely, in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The consultant will work independently within the Service Reliability Group and align with the central security team in setting and implementing group-wide standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Security Advisory: Provide expert advice on security matters to the Service Reliability Group. This includes identifying potential security risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  2. Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures that align with group-wide standards set by the central security team.
  3. Training: Conduct security awareness training for the Service Reliability Group to ensure understanding and compliance with security policies.
  4. Incident Response: Assist in managing security incidents, including investigation and resolution.
  5. Compliance: Ensure services are delivered in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 27001 and ISO 20000.
  6. Commercial and Presales:Supporting the wider sales teams with expert security advice and contributing to bids and tenders by responding to RFPs and RFIs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a Service Reliability environment.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, including experience with ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
