Position Title: Senior Business Development Manager- Financial Services & Insurance 

Location:Hybrid- London/ Manchester

Role Purpose: 

We have a dynamic and growing Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) sector at NCC, recently under new leadership. Due to this growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team in a new role, supporting the next phase of NCC’s growth. You’ll be joining a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning with expert peers both in sales and technical consulting.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will drive our efforts in forging critical connections between our capabilities and customers within key Insurance accounts and prospects. You will be expected to lead by example, actively contributing to the sector strategy, as well as having complete ownership of your pipeline; you’ll be given the trust, freedom, and support to work in a way that suits you best.

Summary:

As our new Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll bring an established network across the CXO offices of Insurance institutions, first-hand experience of prospecting, developing, and closing business, an understanding of Insurance firms’ digital transformation journey and the importance of Cyber Security.

You will be as comfortable developing new business from early leads as you will be in directing large established accounts or tenders. You will have experience of building multi-disciplinary integrated account and opportunity teams and working with partners and consortia to lead the market and win business.

Key Accountabilities:

Winning, Growing and Diversifying Financial Services Accounts; achieving targets relating to growth in pipeline, sales, revenue, and margin, whilst ensuring a strong cash collection position.

Profiling and Focused Targeting of Prospects;with particular focus on the Insurance market, securing new business and driving penetration of the sector.

Proposition and Account Development:Lead the strategic development of propositions within key and emerging accounts within the Insurance sector, with a focus on large deal shaping. Proficiently understand understanding and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Thought Leadership:Serve as an account expert and cultivate thought leadership within your sector to ensure client success.

Pipeline Visibility: Generate clear demand signals within your accounts to guide the delivery units and inform product and service line innovation.

Client Workshops and Immersion: Facilitate client workshops, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster sector immersion.

High-Value Client Relationships: Cultivate key high-value collaborative relationships with major customers and authorities within FSI and related accounts to drive sustainable growth.

What we are looking for in you:

Insurance Sector Experience: Proven track record in new business development and account management within Insurance (general Insurance/ London market/ brokers).Complex IT /

Cyber security sales experience:Demonstrable success in selling complex IT and or cybersecurity solutions to strategic clients with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 

Collaborative Team Player: Able to work both independently and as an integral member of a high-performing team, coaching, supporting, and sharing best practice with colleagues.
