Job Title: Senior AI Automation Engineer

Contract: 6 months

Location: London - Hybrid (2 to 3 days a week in office)

Rate: £800 - £850 inside umbrella

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Automation Engineer to take the lead in designing and delivering cutting-edge AI and automation solutions across their core platforms, including UiPath, Azure AI, and Tungsten Automation. As a hands-on expert, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's internal capabilities and ensuring seamless integration across various technologies.

What You'll Be Doing:

Technical Ownership: Take charge of the bank's UiPath and Tungsten Automation platforms, ensuring they align with innovation goals.
Solution Design: Develop AI and automation-driven solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Integration Mastery: Build robust integrations between Copilot Studio, UiPath, Azure AI, and Tungsten Automation.
Prototype Development: Create prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and pilot-ready technical solutions that set the standard for excellence.
Secure Architecture: Define and maintain secure integration patterns across all platforms, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
Capability Exploration: Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new platform capabilities and AI features.
Collaboration: Work closely with Architecture, Cybersecurity, and InfoSec teams to ensure all solutions meet security and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge Sharing: Produce comprehensive documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the wider Innovation team.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Hands-On Expertise: Strong experience with UiPath development and architecture.
AI Proficiency: Familiarity with Azure AI / Microsoft AI Foundry and AI-driven integrations.
Integration Skills: Solid engineering skills, particularly in APIs, authentication, and secure design patterns.
Coding Knowledge: Practical experience with coding languages such as Python, C#, or PowerShell.
Industry Background: Experience in banking or other regulated industries is a plus.
Security Awareness: A good understanding of enterprise security, data protection, and responsible AI principles.

Desirable

Experience with Tungsten Automation or similar document automation / IDP platforms

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Copilot Studio extensibility (calling external services).
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Knowledge of M365 Copilot integration patterns.
Understanding of cloud integration (APIM, private endpoints, secure connectivity).
Experience working in global or distributed technical teams.
