Job Title: SEN / SEND Tutor Rochester

We are seeking passionate and skilled SEN / SEND Tutors in Rochester to provide 1:1 educational support to young people with a range of additional needs, including SEND, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties). Positions are available across various locations, with ongoing recruitment to meet the needs of the children and young people we support.

The Role:
As a SEN / SEND Tutor Rochester, you will:

Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition tailored to the unique needs of each pupil.
Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs referred by local authorities and schools.
Provide holistic and trauma-informed tutoring to promote engagement and learning.
Plan and deliver sessions designed to meet the pupil's educational and social-emotional goals.
Complete progress reports and provide regular feedback on the pupil’s development.
Requirements As a SEN / SEND Tutor Rochester:

Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, TA, LSA or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
Proven experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional educational needs.
Knowledge of safeguarding processes and a commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Two professional references.
Right to work in the UK for all roles, including remote or online positions.
Employment Details:

Engagement as a Worker, providing short-term support as placements arise.
Paid via PAYE, under a contract for service (this is not a self-employed role).
Insurance coverage for all work undertaken through us.
Work hours and expenses are not guaranteed but are arranged based on assignments.
