Security Solutions Architect – SC Cleared - Data Centric Security, Zero Trust

Location: Corsham/Northwood - Full Remote working with occasional visits
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Sector: Defence / National Security

Coltech are supporting a major Defence programme and we’re looking for an experienced hands-on Security Architect who has specialised and gained experience specifically in data-centric security with attribute-based access control and SAML-based (or similar) identity enforcement, federation of trust and key management, all in a zero trust architecture.

Knowledge of multi-level cross domain security gateways in a defence or national security context is also important.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, scalable solution architectures
Develop and maintain security architecture frameworks aligned to business and IT strategy
Design secure cloud, application and network architectures
Ensure consistent integration of security controls across platforms and systems
Work closely with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams and developers
Translate business requirements into secure technical designs
Present security strategy and roadmaps to senior leadership

Skills & Experience
Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies
Experience with military or law enforcement operational information technologies.
Strong background in Cross Domain Security & Zero Trust architectures
Expertise in Data Centric Security: identity federation, ABAC (Attribute-based Access Control), key management, and other related security solutions.
Knowledge of secure transactional and message distribution technologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
