Innovate. Iterate. Automate. All in an Azure environment.

You're going to be coming into an environment where things are currently moving too slowly from a security and policy point of view. Policies are taking too long to implement and the wider business can't get things done because of this. You'll be given plenty of autonomy and flexibility to implement policies and systems to make everyone's life easier.

You're not a "red teamer" or a code side engineer but someone who can cover various bases and deliver the change required in the security team currently. You'll come up with new ways of automating policies and certifications like CyberEssentials and ISO into the everyday business systems - this will be your core focus.

This will all be done in a Microsoft environment, working specifically with Azure and other tools like Entrust, Intune and Defender. It's key that you're well versed with these and anything else in this environment - you'll have the choice of what to use and what to implement, but these are the basics.

There's a blank canvas here, so you will be expected to speak up and choose the best course of action, iterating and automating your solution/s. An engineering background would be great, but most importantly you'll have the Azure security fundamentals mentioned above and be a good scripter. IaaC experience would be a huge plus.

You're going to be joining a company with data and technology at the heart of the business. Getting things to their clients efficiently is key and you'll be a key part of that process. There is no in office policy as long as you can go into the office a few times - most of the team work twice a week but you can choose. Salary will be up to £100k plus benefits.

Ready to innovate and automate? Get in touch.

Quantum-Enhanced AI in Cyber Security: Guarding the Digital Frontier

The cyber security landscape has evolved dramatically over the past decade. Long gone are the days when businesses primarily worried about simplistic phishing or basic website defacements. Today’s threats include nation-state attacks, sophisticated ransomware, AI-generated phishing campaigns, and a wide array of stealthy intrusion methods. Organisations must defend vast digital ecosystems that include cloud infrastructure, IoT devices, and critical operational technology—any of which can become high-value targets for malicious actors. Amid these escalating challenges, a new technological wave is emerging: quantum computing. Although still in its infancy, quantum computing promises capabilities that could surpass even the most advanced classical supercomputers for specific tasks. Simultaneously, in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI)—where data volumes and model complexity are exploding—quantum’s parallelism could significantly boost analysis, training, and decision-making. What unfolds when quantum computing and AI converge in the realm of cyber security? On one hand, quantum technologies could introduce stronger encryption and faster threat detection. On the other, adversaries armed with quantum power might break today’s cryptographic protocols or develop more potent attacks at unimaginable speeds. This article explores the phenomenon of quantum-enhanced AI for cyber security: the possibilities it unlocks, the challenges it poses, and the reasons it could reshape both defensive and offensive operations in the digital world.
