Security Business Analyst
Daily Rate: £450 - £550 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Contract Length: 3 months initially

Hybrid working - 3 days in London, Birmingham, Bristol or Ipswich)

Our client is seeking an experienced Security Business Analyst to join their team for a 3 month initial contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to critical projects within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for Business Analysis across various projects, programmes, or work streams.
Collaborate with the project manager to identify key stakeholders and confirm objectives for new solutions.
analyse and document current solutions, identifying areas for improvement.
Produce high-quality requirements documentation that meets stakeholder needs, including acceptance criteria.
Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective scope control and compliance tracking.
Design and document high-level operational processes in consultation with solution architects and designers.
Work with operational stakeholders to design low-level operational processes, identifying new and impacted workflows.
Plan and document the transition from current to new solutions, working closely with the project manager and solution architect.
Develop comprehensive end-to-end test cases in collaboration with the solution architect.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for relevant teams.
Oversee the transition and implementation of operational processes.
Ensure operational processes are embedded and perform periodic checks.
Provide updates and reports to the project manager.
Lead meetings, facilitate workshops, and deliver presentations for diverse audiences, showcasing strong communication and influence at all levels.
Build cross-functional relationships within and outside the organisation.
Travel as required to meet with project stakeholders and attend workshops.

Qualifications & Experience:

STEM-related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Significant experience in business analysis within a multi-disciplined and commercial environment.
Strong knowledge of Business Analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
Proven communication and influencing abilities with a collaborative approach.
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
Ability to work independently on complex issues.
Demonstrable skills in effectively presenting information.
Experience with complex cybersecurity or IT projects is essential.
recognised business analyst qualifications (e.g., BCS business analysis diploma) are preferred.Mandatory Experience:

Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis
Experience in business requirement definition, process design, and relevant methodologies.
Good knowledge of business processes, capabilities, operations, and technical environments.
Understanding of agile methods and their implications for project delivery.
Experience working on high-profile projects reporting to senior management and directors.
Experience with security transformation projects.
