About The Role
We're hiring aSecurity Architectto support the secure design and delivery of solutions within theOpNETprogramme. You'll work across architecture, assurance, and compliance to ensure alignment with MOD and NCSC security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide security input to technical roadmaps and high-level designs.
  • Develop and document secure Intermediate-Level Designs (ILD).
  • Review and approve LLD/DLD designs for compliance.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure 3rd-party compliance with MOD security policies.
  • Guide logging, AV, firewall, and cyber defence implementations.
  • Support platform and cyber teams with secure architecture direction.

Essential Skills

  • Strong background in secure solution design and delivery in Defence.
  • Expertise in VMware Horizon, ESXi, vSAN, Microsoft Server OSs, Windows 10, and Linux.
  • Knowledge of PKI, proxy services (ADFS), cryptographic systems, and SDDC.
  • Familiarity with MOD assurance processes, NCSC patterns, and ITIL tooling.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and risk management skills.
  • Active SC clearance and DV eligibility.

Desirable Skills

  • Defence Digital / MOD experience.
  • Familiarity with Two-Factor Auth, .NET, Ansible/Puppet, and Atlassian tools.
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery.
