Security ArchitectFlexible / Hybrid Working with occasional travel for client meetingsAbout the Role:iO Associates are partnering with a leading technology firm in their search for an experienced Senior PKI Architect.Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be involved in, active SC or DV Clearance is required for eligibility.In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions for high-profile clients.You will be involved in the entire solution lifecycle-from pre-sales architecture to implementation and ongoing internal improvements-driving strategic initiatives while ensuring technical excellence and a strong focus on client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Sales & Client Engagement: Lead technical discussions, develop proposals, and educate stakeholders on PKI.Solution Architecture & Delivery: Design and implement PKI solutions, oversee CA/RA setups, and ensure compliance.Innovation & Improvement: Create design patterns, conduct reviews, and improve solution delivery.Team Development: Mentor junior team members and support hiring through your network.Requirements:Expertise in PKI technologies and standards (X.509, SSL/TLS, S/MIME).Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms, key management, and code signing.Hands-on experience with tools such as Keyfactor Command, Venafi TLS Protect, AppViewX CERT+, EJBCA, Microsoft AD CS, and HSMs (Thales Luna, EnTrust nCipher, Fortanix DSM).Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure).Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: NIST, GDPR, etc.Proficiency in technical documentation (MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel).Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Desirable: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or a recognised Vendor Certification.If you are passionate about cryptography and PKI, and you're ready to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
