What are we looking for?

Capco are looking for Security Architects to help our clients solve a range of complex problems. We help clients design exceptional customer experiences and products, we also help them look hard at getting the best out of new technology and integrating it into their existing organisations.

Our solution architects are pivotal team members, helping turn great ideas into actionable solutions using a range of business and technology capabilities.

This is a role for you if you are looking for an outcome-oriented role, as part of a creative and dynamic team helping financial services clients make sense of the choices they face in the digital business environment.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced security architectures. Oversee the execution of security strategies aligned with the business objectives. Deliver high-quality Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and lead their implementation. Ensure all security solutions are designed and implemented in adherence to security policies and standards. Provide expertise in Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other cloud platforms. Develop and implement cloud security strategies to enhance the security of cloud-based applications. Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions to secure access to organisation resources and information. Develop strategies for the ongoing improvement of IDAM processes and technologies. Provide leadership in application security to enhance protection against threats and vulnerabilities. Develop strategies and solutions to secure sensitive data against unauthorised access and breaches. Embed security within the DevOps lifecycle, promoting a culture of security awareness within the development and operations teams. Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated tools and processes to enhance security across the development lifecycle. Lead threat modelling exercises to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies. Work with various stakeholders to enhance the organisation's overall security posture through Threat Modelling. Act as the primary security consultant for various business units and projects. Provide security-related insights and recommendations to influence organisational decisions.

Essential Experience:

Extensive experience with Azure Cloud, GCP, and other cloud platforms. Proven experience in IDAM, Network, Application Security, Data Security, and DevSecOps. Demonstrable experience in delivering Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and leading implementations.

What we look for in members of the Architecture team:

Customer centricity – the ability to empathise with customers and an affinity to create solutions designed to deliver a great customer experience Knowledge of a range of architectural skills which could include modern solution design, Target operating models, Solution Estimation and Planning or Architecture Governance (ideally in an Agile context) A strong technical background with demonstrable expertise in at least one of AWS, GCP or Azure. An understanding of the end to end technology delivery lifecycle, with exposure to working in agile alongside product, engineering and software delivery professionals. Industry/domain experience and expertise within at least one of Capital Markets, Retail Banking & Payments, Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management. Commercially minded with experience of business development & other capability development activities if joining at more senior grades (Principal Consultant/Managing Principal).
