Like many companies, Pro-Global has focused heavily on growth and the delivery of key services to clients.  We are now looking looking to further develop and strengthen our core infrastructure, specifically IT security, to put the business in a better position to navigate current and future challenges.

This IT Security Analyst will join the Group part of a developed environment, providing assistance and advice to the business and management teams, helping safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of the Group’s information assets. This role will contribute to information security strategies, identifying, managing and reducing the risk associated with information security threats. Pro-Global operates in a highly regulated industry, and as a result this role will be heavily involved in working through those audits.

Working closely with both the technology teams and the Risk functions, the IT Security Analyst will help define the Information Security Management Framework, helping the Group understand and address security risks.

Pro operates a hybrid working policy, this role will be working on a full time, hybrid basis from either our London or Gloucester office.

What we are looking for

An Information Security Analyst who:

• Can explain information security concepts to various audiences across the business in a way that is highlights business impacts and key risks
• Has some technical “IT” knowledge (though not necessarily an expert), to work closely with the technology teams by providing advice and challenge on information security best practice.
• Possesses excellent relationship building skills and can develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and audits with assistance for external clients, following industry standards and best practices.
• Identify and report on security risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps, and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Implement and monitor security controls and policies to enhance the security posture of the organization and its clients.
• Manage and coordinate the outsourced SOC service, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents and alerts.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff and clients on security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Timely production of information security MI, risk assessments and reports providing senior management with oversight of the ongoing threats and the business ability to manage threats.
• Maintain an up to date understanding of the threat landscape for the industry the business operates in
• Identify opportunities for cost-effective investment into information security initiatives, creating business cases where appropriate.

Skills Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field,orequivalent work experience.
• At least three years of experience in IT security, preferably in a consulting or auditing role.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, or OSCP are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO , NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
• Proficient in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
