SAP Security Analyst (MoD, Defence) Salary: 70,000 - 70,000 GBP per year

Requirements:

  1. Hands-on experience in SAP Service Management, Plant Maintenance, and Fleet Operations or similar fields.
  2. Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance.
  3. Must be a British National.


Your responsibilities are:

  1. Provide technical and configuration support for designing and building SAP and Non-SAP authorizations and roles for all SAP supported systems.
  2. Develop security roles to minimize business risk and ensure clear Segregation of Duties.
  3. Understand business processes to develop access controls and resolve user access issues.
  4. Participate in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation.
  5. Propose alternatives based on best practices across the supported technologies.
  6. Assist in initial testing of problem fixes, change requests, enhancements, and new functionality in all projects.
  7. Collaborate with the Service Desk and other support teams to resolve incidents and problems.
  8. Stay updated on SAP and other industry security developments.
  9. Take responsibility for the quality of work performed.
  10. Demonstrate an understanding of how your specialization relates to the rest of the department and organization.
  11. Understand and apply business methodologies and procedures.
