We are seeking anSAP Functional Architectin ourBroomfield, COLocation.
About the Role:
The SAP Functional Architect is responsible for ensuring that SAP solutions effectively align with the company's business processes and strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of business functions and processes and SAP's functional capabilities and how to enable them across various modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources). The SAP Functional Architect works closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions.
Your voice will be critical in leading the organization to develop and execute an enterprise-wide SAP strategy and roadmap that is aligned and positioned to innovate and deliver compelling business value globally. Through partnerships, you will work with interdisciplinary stakeholders, comprised of internal staff and external contractors, to ensure Quantinuum stakeholders have access to our systems and services whenever and wherever they need them.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify current and unmet needs, including processes, workflow, and standards, and translate them into requirements.
- Develop, communicate, and execute a business-aligned technology strategy, including digital transformation, governance, and road mapping.
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions while overseeing contracts and assessing the performance and results of third-party vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Foster effective communication with scientific and business leaders to improve support for existing services and secure buy-in for new initiatives, while identifying training needs and opportunities for IT staff development.
- Establish standards and policies to ensure technology is implemented and accessed consistently and uniformly across the globe in alignment with our compliance agreements.
- Integrate SAP solutions with PLM systems to enhance product data management and streamline the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure products and services are implemented and configured for effective and timely change management and technical support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (InfoSec, Procurement, Finance, etc.) to ensure the security, scalability, and governance of systems, and prepare for audits by implementing remediation strategies for identified issues. Ensures systems are SOX, or related, compliant.
- Collaborate with Procurement to manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations to procure hardware, software, and IT services.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for SAP processes and third-party vendor performance, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and communicate results to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree minimum
- Minimum of 8+ years of practical experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, SAP Analyst, or similar
- Minimum 2+ years as an SAP Functional Architect, Program Manager, or similar.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
WE VALUE:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP certification in relevant modules is highly desirable, e.g., SAP Certified Application Architect.
- Proven track record of leading SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the organization's operations.
- Extensive experience in SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, PLM) with a proven track record of successful ERP implementations and upgrades.
- Hands-on technical experience working as a senior or principal individual contributor designing, implementing, and supporting applications and products at an enterprise level.
- Experience leading teams through organizational change, such as technology migrations, process improvements, or organizational restructuring. Strong technical leadership abilities, vision and drive, and a documented record of success.
- Strong understanding of business processes in industries like manufacturing, finance, supply chain, or human resources.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design effective SAP solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members.
- Experience working with and applying formal Project Management processes and best practices to projects and initiatives. Doing so across time zones is a plus.
- Practical experience leveraging data analytics & reporting for performance management and data driven decision-making.
- Effective communication with internal teams and vendors regarding support tasks and strategies.
- Ability to document procedures and design workflows to improve technical and operational stability and efficiency.
- Experience working in a technology start-up environment.
- Ability to present and communicate relevant concepts within the scope of responsibilities at all levels of the company.
- Willingness to be flexible in meeting the demands of a fast-moving business.
Compensation & Benefits:
Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable

Estimated Salary Wage: $130,000 - $163,000 Annually
