Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented IT IAM Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads, ultimately setting up qualified meetings for our Account Executives to close deals.


Key Responsibilities:


Prospecting:

  • Identify and research potential clients within target industries and markets.
  • Utilize various tools and resources (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM, industry publications) to identify key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement.

Outbound Calling/Cold Calling:

  • Proactively contact potential clients through cold calling, e-mails and other outbound calling activities.
  • Develop and refine call scripts and talking points to effectively communicate the value proposition of our IAM solutions.
  • Overcome objections and handle rejection professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of all outbound calling activities in the CRM system.

Lead Qualification:

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and other sources.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and requirements.
  • Determine if prospects are a good fit for our IAM solutions based on pre-defined criteria.

Relationship Building:

  • Build rapport and establish trust with potential clients through professional and engaging communication.
  • Nurture leads through consistent follow-up and value-added content sharing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system.

Meeting Setting:

  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives with decision-makers at target accounts.
  • Provide Account Executives with detailed background information on prospects and their needs.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies and goals.
  • Share insights and feedback from prospect interactions to improve marketing campaigns and sales processes.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our IAM solutions.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation or sales, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and terminology, with a focus on cybersecurity and IAM.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with potential clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
