RESILIENT LEAD ENGINEER (RADIO FREQUENCY + GNSS APPLICATION) - AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The oversight requires designing, simulating, and testing a 7th generation Dual-Antenna Receiver[DAR]to provide high accuracy/sensitivity for critical applications and spoofing detection using a dual-antenna high-precisionGNSSreceiver as a function of time under spoofing and jamming attacks. This will be achieved by utilizing fast and reliable spoofing detection methods using single and dual antenna processes. A team of ten with automatic nulling-steering capabilities will be employed to provide protection against high-powered jamming and spoofing attacks. Key areas to cover will include:

  1. Narrowband interference and Wideband interference
  2. Spectrum monitoring interference
  3. Spoofing detection and signal classification
  4. Space-time processing methods
  5. Jamming/spoofing mitigation

Our overarching goal is to improve code or carrier multipath mitigation, enhance acquisition and tracking sensitivity, and provide the highest level of robustness against anyGNSSextortion while ensuring high accuracy in challengingGNSSenvironments. We aim to improve measurement quality in fading and foliage environments, enhance signal parameters, and propagation channels, and improve detection performance and reliability while reducing detection time using various metrics for spoofing detection and signal classification. We are a startup enhancing the formation at the early stages of a product development project.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information and utilize the necessary equipment to perform the job.

ENVIRONMENT:This position will operate in the following areas of the organization:[ROCKET FUEL] MISSION INTELLIGENCE DIVISION. Innovation, powering speed and space exploration in science systems.

QUALIFICATIONS, KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS SET:

  • 15+ years of experience in designingRFoFtransmission network design and optimization
  • High-speed design &RFapplications &RFtesting
  • Experience with Antenna Systems & Aerospace applications
  • Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Geomatics, or Aerospace
  • Extensive experience withGNSSInterface Control Documents[ICD]& data/file formats
  • Executive experience with satellite signals in navigation
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP)
  • Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineer(IASAE)
  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional(ISSEP)
  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional(ISSAP)is essential
  • It is a prerequisite to be certified in one of the listedDoD 8570Certifications
