My client, a leading Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), is seeking a highly skilled Principal Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence. Role Overview:
As a Principal Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and leading the strategy for my client’s threat intelligence services. This includes monitoring the dark web for leaked credentials, tracking ransomware activities, researching known nation-state actors, and producing insightful blogs on emerging threats. You’ll be working with cutting-edge tools, including a dark web scraping tool, to ensure clients stay ahead of potential security breaches.
Responsibilities:
Threat Intelligence Development: Shape and lead the strategy for a sellable threat intelligence service, including a free element for wider access.
Dark Web Monitoring: Utilize specialized tools to monitor the dark web for leaked credentials and other security threats.
Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on ransomware activities and known nation-state actors to provide actionable intelligence.
Content Creation: Write blogs and other content on emerging threats to establish my client as a thought leader in cybersecurity.
Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of my client’s threat intelligence services, working closely with support teams to ensure excellence.
Skills/Must have:
You might be in an L3 role and are ready to specialize in threat intelligence. Prior experience in threat intelligence is a plus, but not required.
Experience working in a busy SOC
