About the job you’re considering​

Pre-sales Team Leader will be responsible for developing and driving the offer roadmap, feasibility studies, specifications, software architecture, customer interfacing, and support the sales, bid, and account teams with resources, content, references, tools, and market information to effectively sell the products or services and deliver high quality proposal responses. They should have experience in open network solutions, telecommunication connectivity, cloud architectures, network AI, and contribution to standard bodies.

Your role 

Lead the Technology & Architecture CTO Team’s activities in Europe with global responsibilities on:

Offer Roadmap Development, Feasibility Studies, Contribution to specification bodies. Drive the development of a high-performance architecture team for global business in 5G / edge computing, Telecom networks, Enterprise Private Networks, System Integration Drive the high-value partnerships with Silicon vendors (Intel, NVIDIA, Qualcomm) and Hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS…) Software Architecture (containing multiple complex sub-systems), customer interfacing, effort estimation and schedules. Responsible and accountable for project’s architecture and software stack technology

Skills and Experience (should have solution architect experience in a couple of the below areas)

Architected Open network solutions in Radio, Fixed access, disaggregated networks for switching and routing solutions from scratch and guided multiple Dev and integration and verification teams working on all the layers in radio network. Background in telecommunication connectivity, industry4.0, IoT and cloud architectures Some experience in developing network architecture, orchestration, telco cloud. Working knowledge on cloud native principles is an added advantage.

Expertise in the below areas will be a plus:

Background in Silicon / SoCs / Middleware software for open network nodes including fast path acceleration technologies. Background in Radio Algorithms, Scheduling, Signalling and performance improvement.  Experience in network AI is an additional benefit. Hands-on experience with I&V tools, Simulators, Coding, Debugging tools. Evidence of contribution to thought leadership content is a plus. Contribution to standard bodies (TIP, O-RAN Alliance, ONF) is an advantage. Extensive wireless experience. BS/MS in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunications or Computer Science

Your security clearance ​

Security Check (SC) Clearance​

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. ​

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.​

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.​

Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.​
