What you will doThe EMEA SaaS Security and Privacy team is a specialist team supporting sales within EMEA applicationsbusiness. The team specializes in how we run the Public Cloud, Cloud Security, how Oracle meets Data Privacy and Regulator obligations. These topics are at the forefront of customers/prospects agenda and are key areas of differentiation for Oracle in Cloud. This Senior role will be within the EMEA SaaS Security & Privacy Team supporting the Oracle SaaS applications business, covering all SaaS applications from ERP, HCM, CX. The successful applicant will be a maker with passion for Cybersecurity and Compliance, being able to successfully present these topics in a sales-oriented manner to Oracle’s SaaS prospects during the sales cycle and create confidence with customers, removing any customer barrier to move to Oracle candidate will also be able to create internal sales awareness and education on SaaS Security & Compliance topics, but equally in industry events and trade shows. Duties and tasks: • Act as independent subject matter expert on cybersecurity, compliance, and SaaS operations in the allocated Region.• Engage and build relationships with customer prospects, account executives, sales leaders, and pre-sales teams within region. • Deliver articulate, effective, and audience-appropriate pre-sales presentations / workshops with technically oriented content in the area of expertise (cybersecurity, cloud operations and compliance) at various events/meeting to both small and large audiences from C-Suite down. • Provide internal and external advocacy on cybersecurity, cloud operations and compliance.• Convey a compelling and convincing case for Oracle Cloud technologies vs. the competition.• Ability to deliver complex technical security and cloud operations workshops. • Maintain deep knowledge around cybersecurity, SaaS operations and regulatory compliance frameworks. • Assist in RFP and tenders within your region were deemed necessary.• Assist legal and commercial teams in contract negotiations.• Facilitating and nurturing senior management relationships to generate active sponsorship of Oracle.• Maintaining an understanding customer security and compliance needs to influence Oracle roadmap. • Maintaining a complete and up-to-date understanding of top, you will:• Maintain regular contact with Product Managers and other stakeholders to share customer needs. • Work with appropriate people to co-ordinate marketing activities and internal & external events.• Enable and create awareness about cybersecurity, SaaS operations and compliance to the sales community.• Attend to relevant industry/subject forums for competence ications needed:• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or compliance topics.• Fluent English is required, and any other Western Europe EU language (Dutch, German, Swedish, Spanish, French, Italian) will be valued.• Presales role: Technical background is required but deep hands-on experience is not required.• Preferably technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent.• Either CISSP, CCSK, CIPP/T, CIPP/E Certified or any other relevant security / compliance certifications.• Sales Orientated and able to work with an important level of independence in the country / region.• Proactive and self-starter.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. • Adept at driving two ways communication by clearly articulating value proposition and teaching to customer’s difficulties• Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving, progressive organization.• Ability to work independently and with a team, and in an efficient and organized manner.
