Location: Homeworking with time spent at our Bradford Office

Salary: circa. £48,000 per annum

Permanent, full time - 37.5 hours per week

Looking for a role where you can drive change? Bring your expertise to the table as our new Partner – People Systems & Design. You’ll lead the way in creating smarter, more efficient HR systems that truly support our people and our vision.About the Role

You will be the driving force behind our People systems strategy, acting as the product owner and subject matter expert for HR systems. You’ll work closely with People leadership, Technology, Data teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, intuitive, and high-performing systems that enhance the employee experience across the full lifecycle.

This role combines technical expertise with user-centred design, leading system configuration, optimisation, and integration to ensure operational excellence and compliance. Responsibilities include:

  • People Systems Design & Operations: Own the HRIS roadmap, configure and maintain systems, monitor performance, manage upgrades, and resolve issues to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Continuous Improvement & Optimisation: Identify automation opportunities, evaluate new HR technologies, and implement workflow automations to enhance efficiency.

  • HRIS Design & User Experience: Design intuitive interfaces and scalable architectures, collaborate on integrations, and use user feedback to drive system enhancements.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business needs into technical solutions, build partnerships with IT and vendors, and deliver training to promote system adoption.

  • Project & Change Management: Lead system implementation projects, develop business cases, and ensure smooth delivery with measurable outcomes.

    What We’re Looking For

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong system administration and configuration skills, ideally with HRIS platforms.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Experience with process automation, workflow design, and project management.

  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

    Experience

  • Proven experience managing and optimising HRIS or People systems.

  • Track record of successful system upgrades or implementations.

  • Experience partnering with IT teams and external vendors.

  • Background in HR operations, data management, or process improvement.

  • Skilled in user experience design and end-user training.

  • Familiarity with SaaS/cloud HR solutions, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Knowledge of data protection and information security best practices.

  • Product ownership or Agile delivery experience is a plus.
