Job title: Operational Risk Manager VP

Location: London/Hybrid

Duration: 6 months initially

The role:

This role is crucial for supporting my client in managing Information Security/Cyber and IT risk by providing independent oversight of risk management activities conducted across the business, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing Information Security/Cyber and IT Risk management frameworks and their implementation.
Supporting EMEA entities and branches in line with service level agreements.
Acting as an escalation point to senior risk management.
Ensure the regional organisation operates to all legal and regulatory requirements affecting Information Security/Cyber and IT activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.
Drive a second line approach to understanding the Information Security/Cyber and IT risk profile.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of non-financial risk management principles, primarily in technology.
Strong understanding of EMEA wide regulation for Information Security/Cyber and IT in Financial Services.
Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and oversee timely remediation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
