Network Systems Architect – Design the Future of Connectivity

As a Network Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and deploying a future-proof Wide Area Network (WAN), ensuring seamless communication across IT and OT environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable, and high-availability network solutions that underpin critical gas operations.

Network Design & Architecture – Develop and implement a resilient WAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid connectivity framework. 
Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with security teams, operations, and technology leaders to align network strategy with business objectives. 
Emerging Technologies – Explore and deploy 5G, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, and other next-gen communication protocols to enhance connectivity. 
Cybersecurity & Compliance – Ensure network designs align with NCSC, NIS, and IEC 62443 security standards. 
Continuous Improvement – Monitor and optimize network performance, reliability, and resilience.  What you'll bring
Extensive experience in network architecture, SD-WAN, VPNs, and industrial networking. 
Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud connectivity solutions. 
Understanding of SCADA/OT network challenges, including low-latency and high-availability requirements. 
Familiarity with network security protocols, segmentation, and Zero Trust architectures. 
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-stakes, critical infrastructure environments.
