URGENT HIRE: Network Security Engineer – Start 2 June – Hybrid – Surrey

We’re seeking a proactiveNetwork Security Engineerto join our team on ahybrid basis(3 days in our Surrey office, 2 days remote) startingMonday, 2 June. If you thrive on designing and maintaining robust security architectures and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!


Rate: Up to £300 per day


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate security controls


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role
  • Strong hands‑on skills with Cisco/Juniper firewalls, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and secure network design
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISM are highly desirable
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
