URGENT HIRE: Network Security Engineer – Start 2 June – Hybrid – Surrey

We’re seeking a proactiveNetwork Security Engineerto join our team on ahybrid basis(3 days in our Surrey office, 2 days remote) startingMonday, 2 June. If you thrive on designing and maintaining robust security architectures and want to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Rate: Up to £300 per day

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate security controls

What You’ll Bring:

Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role
Strong hands‑on skills with Cisco/Juniper firewalls, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and secure network design
Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISM are highly desirable
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
