About the
role

As Lead
Security Architect, you’ll be instrumental in the definition, development and
implementation of the enterprise security architecture strategy and technology
roadmaps aligned to the strategic requirements of the business.  

This role will
involve overseeing and leading the provision of Security Architecture services
to change initiatives, aligning and coordinating with wider Digital Security
and architecture governance functions to advise on and deliver a comprehensive
enterprise (IT) and operational technology (OT) security architecture which is
necessary to build and ensure an enhanced resilience in our critical operations
against known and emerging threats in the long term. 

You’ll be
responsible for the leadership and creation of architectural work products
(artefacts) and directing the Security Architecture practice in performing
various analysis and delivery. These work products are very important in
communicating approved security posture to the entire technology environment.
They may include designs, blueprints, global principles, standards and patterns
or Notices of decision that impact technology strategy. 

This is a
critical global role which will work closely with multiple partners across Drax
Group internationally to embed security by design in a varied and sophisticated
technical landscape. Reporting into the Head of Digital Security, this is a
leadership role with the opportunity to build and shape a new team which
includes cyber strategy, architecture, solution design and Sec in
DevSecOps. 

Who we’re
looking for


The successful
candidate will be able to demonstrate the below:

- Industry recognised security and architecture accreditation (CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF, SABSA, SANS (GICSP), Senior CAP (Architect) or similar)
- Extensive demonstratable cyber technology and domain technology specific experience, ideally supported by vendor specific accreditations
- Experience leading a high performing and diverse team is essential, including prior experience in budget management business planning. 
- Deep understanding of Security Frameworks: notably, the Network & Information Systems Regulations (Cyber Assessment Framework), IEC62443, OG-86 and ISA-99; and evidence that security architecture is able to meet multiple control frameworks in highly complex IT/OT environments and can be complimentary.  
- Deep technical knowledge of modern Security Architectures including but not limited to; Public Cloud, Software-defined Data Centres, Cloud Native & Modern Application architectures, cyber operations and OT/ICS critical infrastructure protection. 
- Experience in systems design and delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support. 
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, influence and communication experience. 
- Hold or able to successfully achieve Government SC vetting.
