Our client base is growing – and so is our team! We’re seeking a Junior Technical Consultant to join us at our Eynsham, Oxfordshire office, so we can continue to serve our diverse client base, managing their IT needs with professionalism and expertise. As a Junior Technical Consultant, you’ll take ownership of projects - from troubleshooting technical issues to delivering infrastructure upgrades - while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure client satisfaction.

This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £35,000 per year, plus a bonus of £6,000 to £10,000 per annum and fantastic benefits, including a personal career development plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Insurance, company events, and a vibrant office.

But that’s not all! As part of your onboarding, you’ll be enrolled in our six-month training plan, and benefit from half a day of training each month to support your continued professional development. You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake Microsoft exams, fully funded by us.

As a Technical Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering proactive and reactive IT support, both remotely and on-site, to a diverse client base

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted IT advisor

Discussing each client’s IT strategy and making considered recommendations

Planning and executing technical projects, including infrastructure upgrades and Microsoft 365 migrations

Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls, in collaboration with the Helpdesk team

Working closely with the wider team to ensure seamless delivery of services and successful project outcomes for our clients

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience with Microsoft 365 configuration and administration, ideally within a Managed Service Provider environment

Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, and associated networking setups

Excellent client-facing communication skills and professional presentation

Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Relevant IT certifications such as MCP (or equivalent); experience with Azure, Intune, and Entra would be beneficial

A willingness to travel to client sites across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas – we believe in being visible and accessible to our clients
