Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Systems Manager to join a successful manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire.

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of high-quality windows and doors, renowned for delivering innovative solutions across the sector. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the business is looking to appoint an experienced IT Systems Manager to support and drive the company’s continued success. The successful candidate will be integral in managing and optimising the company’s IT systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The IT Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and databases. This role will involve close collaboration with various departments, ensuring that IT systems meet the evolving needs of the business. The IT Systems Manager will also be responsible for leading a small team of IT professionals, ensuring that systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Please note this is an office based role.

Role responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems function smoothly and align with the business goals.

  • Ensure all IT systems are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations. Manage cybersecurity protocols and protect sensitive data.

  • Provide technical support for any IT-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency across the business.

  • Oversee IT projects, such as system upgrades, new software implementations, or technology integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Work closely with different departments to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions that drive productivity and efficiency.

    Candidate’s skills & experience:

  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Manager

  • Strong knowledge of server and network administration.

  • Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows and Linux.

  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware.

  • Solid understanding of security practices and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common office software.

  • Familiarity with VoIP systems and peripheral device management.
