Job Title: IT Support (Second Line)
Location: Worcester
Salary: £30k - £35k
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (30 minutes for lunch)
Permanent Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join our team in Worcester. As a second line support technician, you will handle escalations, solve technical issues, and assist in the rollout of security and compliance measures. This role requires a self-sufficient individual who is capable of working autonomously, thinking creatively, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of IT legislation and cybersecurity trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide second line support, managing escalations, resolving technical queries, and troubleshooting problems.
Ensure secure firewalls are established across all sites.
Manage and oversee the implementation of the ISO 27001 system.
Develop, implement, and manage the organisation's cyber policy.
Liaise with our external IT support partner, LeapIT.
Previous experience with NetSuite is preferred.
Experience with Google G Suite (Gmail, Google Chat, Google Docs) is desirable; however, experience with Office 365 is also considered.
Work with Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11).
Have experience with both Android and Apple iOS mobile operating systems.
Work independently and make intuitive decisions.
Bring innovative and creative ideas to improve IT operations.
Stay up to date with current cybersecurity knowledge and IT legislation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

3+ years of experience in IT support and systems maintenance.
A-level or equivalent in IT or Computing.
Strong understanding and interest in cybersecurity.
Additional Information:

Continually improve personal skills and knowledge in line with company objectives.
Travel to other sites may be required based on business needs.
