Exciting opportunity for an IT Security Manager to join a growing business based in Milton Keynes, offering up to £90,000 plus excellent benefits (including hybrid working) as well as opportunity to lead on interesting cyber security projects & strategies!

The Role

As IT Security Manager, you'll join a close-knit IT function and lead on cyber security initiatives. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and maintain cyber assessment framework (ensuring processes and standards are aligned with best practices and latest industry trends)
  • work collaboratively and closely with infrastructure and network engineers, on business as usual incident response, vulnerability management, root cause analysis etc.
  • lead on cyber security projects
  • maintaining and developing cyber security road-map
  • ongoing security threat, risk and capability analysis
  • network monitoring, managing and supporting business resilience/continuity activities
  • manage 3rd parties and suppliers

About you

Applicants for the IT Security Manager role will have:

  • demonstrable experience in a similar position, with a good blend of business as usual cyber security activities as well as security strategies and projects
  • preferably CISSP, CISM accredited or similar
  • broad infrastructure, cloud and network knowledge
  • passionate about driving best practice within cyber security processes, compliance, training and awareness
  • experience maintaining cyber security frameworks e.g. NIST, Cyber Essentials, ISO

Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including generous pension, 25 days holiday, bonus, private medical, and hybrid working
