IT Manager – Permanent – West London – Up to £55,000 Per Annum

We're seeking a hands-on IT Manager to independently lead our technology operations for a growing team of 40 staff.

As our sole IT professional, you'll manage our robust technology infrastructure while supporting both internal teams and customer-facing projects. This autonomous role offers the perfect blend of strategic planning and hands-on technical work, ideal for someone who thrives on variety and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain our entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and Azure services
  
  
• Manage diverse infrastructure including Windows servers, SaaS applications, networking, and security systems
  
  
• Lead IT security initiatives and maintain certifications (GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
  
  
• Provide multi-level technical support while managing external vendor relationships
  
  
• Support Engineering department with specialized customer projects
  
  
• Drive continuous improvement of IT systems and processes
  
  Required Experience & Skills
  
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Windows operating systems
  
  
• Strong experience with networking (LAN/WLAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches)
  
  
• Proven track record in managing SaaS applications and cloud services
  
  
• Experience with information security and compliance standards
  
  
• Background in small company environment or MSP
  
  
• Leadership experience with excellent communication skills
  
  
• Degree level education and relevant IT certifications preferred
