Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst is responsible for driving the completion of incoming tickets and assisting the leadership with project work. This role is responsible for ensuring continual improvement by escalating changes. This role is also responsible for assisting other team members with knowledge sharing to improve the team's capability

Responsible for:

Triaging and management of support desk including handling of basic enquiries Completion of RFI and RFP as part of the sales process First response for anti-virus alerts and phishing notifications Assessment and approval of new vendors using our Vendor Management solution. Handling of access request approvals

Assist with:

Supporting on external audits, internal Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests Internal and external audits (Particularly SOC 1 Type II) Maintenance of the Information Security Risk Register, reporting increases in the threat landscape, risk mitigation measures, and risk treatment Implementing the organisation's Security Strategy.  Monitoring of the organisation's networks and systems for security breaches and intrusions. Security incident response, including retrospective technical and forensic investigation into the cause of a breach and extent of damage. Implementation and maintenance of physical security Researching and recommending security enhancements Advising on changes in software, hardware, access control, communications and requirements. Supporting plans and protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorised access, modification and/or destruction Anticipating security alerts, incidents and disasters with the goal of reducing occurrences

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years experience  3 to 5 years experience of security management principles. At least one of the following CompTIA Security+, SSCP, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals. Knowledge of security management principles Demonstrate a practical working knowledge of vendor management tooling, anti-virus solutions, servicing client requests for information and access management.  Ability to influence key stakeholders within the business around security concerns in a way that demonstrates the value of risk mitigation Ability to communicate, both internally and externally Strong problem-solving skills  Good standard of both written and verbal communication Ability to manage and prioritise workload Must be a self starter, who can both work independently and as part of a team Desire to progress and develop within the role Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish Keen attention to detail

Desired Qualifications & Competencies:

CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP or equivalent  Experience with Google Workspace, JIRA, JAMF, Tenable.io, Nessus, Sophos Endpoint Protection, Wazuh SIEM.
