As part of the Gamechanger Farming Graduate Programme, you will operate within our dynamic and fast-paced integrated beef supply chain, gaining invaluable experience across key departments: Procurement, Rearing, and Finishing. This structured rotation is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to develop into a future leader in the agriculture and supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement

        Collaborate with the procurement team and Dairy Farms to source calves sustainably, ensuring alignment with Gamechanger Farming's quality and specification requirements.

        Work in the collection centres, understanding the operations and data inputs/management.

        Analyse supply market trends and contribute to strategic decisions regarding supplier relationships.

Rearing Operations

        Work directly with rearing farmers to optimise the calves care, focusing on health, welfare, and operational efficiency.

        Support the implementation of sustainable and innovative farming practices.

        Monitor rearing KPIs, including growth rates and feed conversion efficiency.

Finishing

        Contribute to planning and distribution to meet customer specifications and deadlines.

        Support the sales team in delivering high-quality calves to Gamechanger customers.

Cross-Functional Exposure

        Collaborate across departments to understand the full lifecycle of the integrated supply chain.

        Develop insights into end-to-end supply chain logistics and customer-focused operational planning.

        Support major operational initiatives and business process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

        Gain first-hand experience in problem-solving complex challenges in a fast-moving supply chain environment.



Personal Specifications:

Educational Background:

A recent graduate with a degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Passion for Agriculture and Sustainability:

Demonstrates a strong interest in sustainable farming practices, livestock welfare, and supply chain innovation.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Capable of interpreting data to inform operational decisions, identify trends, and implement actionable solutions.

Communication and Relationship-Building:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams, including farmers, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.


Flexibility:

Willing to travel between sites and adapt to varied working environments, from farms to corporate offices.
